Hossein Shoorab (b. 1998, Tehran) is a contemporary Iranian artist whose work is inspired by water and the abstract forms of Iran’s historic qanats, expressing environmental and cultural concerns through abstraction. He explores Iranian water heritage and qanats from various perspectives, aiming to draw attention to their significance. For him, art is a means of expression beyond the limits of any single medium, and his practice is interdisciplinary.
